The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion

+ Mama Rosin

New date!

2011 kicked off with the band making a splash with their raucous cover of Ram Jam's 'Black Betty' in Volkswagen's Super Bowl XLV ad. In addition, the JSBX toured Australia and New Zealand, in support of the band's massive reissue campaign featuring the seminal, long-out-of-print albums - Now I Got Worry, Acme, Extra Width and Orange and the extremely rare live album, Controversial Negro - all lovingly remastered and released by Majordomo Records/Shout! Factory as physical packages and available digitally for the first time.

"The shows have been amazing, we've had a string of knockouts. It feels so good to be blowing minds with the BX again. Judah Bauer, Russell Simins, and myself are on a roll, and moving into the future - got a trick bag of new tunes, can't wait to whip 'em on the people!" Jon Spencer/July 2011
