Afrika Eye - Coffy
Join Afrika Eye for a weekender celebrating black female action heroes as part of BFI's Art of Action season, and revel in the sights and sounds of 70s blaxploitation with Pam Grier, perhaps the most notable star of the era.
Coffy (directed by Jack Hill) tells a story how a sexy Black nurse takes vigilante justice against inner-city drug dealers after her sister becomes their latest victim.
A night to remember with a warm fire, mulled wine and snacks.. Stick around for an informal post screening discussion with a selection of black female and non binary guest around the fire (if the weather holds out for us).
Book now as tickets are limited.
