Trinity Presents: Downbeat Melody Day Party
We have invited the veteran soundsystem Downbeat Melody to Trinity for a day party to play tribute to the sound system heritage of the Trinity Centre, filled with the sweetness of the golden age of Reggae music.
Steve Rice and Paul Solution:
With over 50 years in the industry, Steve Rice and Paul Solution are true staples of the scene. Alongside their unique, vintage sound system, Downbeat Melody, expect a top selection of the rarest cuts of classic reggae, roots and rub a dub tunes.
Ras Digby:
Ras Digby, also known as Sir Jesus Sound, is a Jamaican selector and MC who has been active in London since the mid-70s. He is a true legend in his field, with a microphone in hand, he skillfully
brings together the forgotten gems of ska, rocksteady, early reggae, and even rub a dub, captivating listeners with infectious delight.
