Spearheaded by James Smith (vocals) and Ryan Needham (bass), the four-piece have built a sound that speaks inherently to the birthplace of Leeds and ties together observations from all walks of modern British life.
Their feverishly anticipated debut album, The Overload, due for release on Jan 07 2022, was recorded at Ali Chant’s (PJ Harvey, Perfume Genius, Aldous Harding) Bristol studio. The Overload is a political record of retro influences; pulsing with post-punk, indie dance energy. It’s a messy, complex, knowingly hypocritical snapshot of our current state of play.
